Compounding the Wisdom of Adventure is Dutiful Business
At its core, "On the Road" is a celebration of the free spirit, the wanderer, the adventurer. Jack Kerouac captures the restless energy of a generation that was searching for something more than the conformity and monotony of post-war America, abundant and “golden aged” as it was sold. Through his vivid descriptions of the people and places he encounters on his travels, Kerouac invites us to see the world in a new way - as a vast, untamed frontier, full of possibilities and potential.
But there's more to this book than just a sense of wanderlust. "On the Road" is also a deeply philosophical work, exploring themes of identity, authenticity, and belonging. Throughout the common journey, Kerouac highlights the struggles to reconcile his desires for freedom and independence with his longing for connection and community. He grapples with questions of what it means to be true to oneself in a world that values conformity above all else. And he ultimately discovers that the road, with all its twists and turns, is both a means of escape and a path towards self-discovery.
For many readers, "On the Road" has been a transformative experience, inspiring them to live more boldly, more authentically, and more fully. It's a book that challenges us to question our assumptions and beliefs, to embrace the unknown, and to connect with others in a way that transcends societal norms and expectations. And though it was written over half a century ago, its message still resonates today, reminding us that the journey of self-discovery is never-ending, and that the road, with all its bumps and detours, is always waiting for us.
SO Why did I undust this out of the Saberpaper drafts? Well I found it relevant to get everyone up to speed and mentally clear on one of my favorite offers to date. If you know me personally, you know me to be a walking paradox, typical in men with … “spirited” ties. For the past few years, I’ve struggled with how I plan on providing value to society. Many told me directly I would be fit for a social media presence, but I found the process alienating and fictitious compared to my potential. A mentor of mine once said, find something that is both tactile and aesthetic, which I found the typical influencer life to be empty of. Fast forward to now, after many odd jobs and a few odd travels, I finally created a hyperbaric chamber where I may be of service, in partial thanks to an intense first reading of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road. I thought to myself many of times, “How can one expedite the process of knowing thyself?” - My thoughts become clear, my feelings become certain, I attach to the transmissions that are relevant to the good of myself and therefore humanity. Lady and Gentleman readers of the Saber Papers, it is with great humility I am proud to share with you something so tactile and so aesthetic, that’s been in the works since childhood: Vipersnipe - Vehicle Induced Perception-Enhancing Reforming of Self; Natural Invoke of Poised Energy.
Let’s introduce you two. Long time members of the saberpapers may remember “Vipersnipe” as my first instagram page - dedicated towards the film photography hobby I forged during my years at Arizona State, with front lawn activities, basic fraternity stunts, and baseball field maintenance life in focus. From this I learned the Potential of what a fraternity could be, and how the lens of life could indeed capture one’s narratives of curiosity, and therefore the progression of Interests, which are the fuelsticks for Desire, the engine of life itself.
Photography can prove it. Go ahead, take a look at your camera roll and make note of what you see. What you see on the surface may indicate more than meets the eye. Now, the camera roll has taken a turn in recent times, and remember, the photograph is only around 200 years old. With the presence of our tech, our visuals have been restricted in size by many degrees unless, those willing, make their way to print shops where selected images are brought to tangible life at size. Even then, the photograph, even if enlarged and placed in attention’s range, cannot directly convey matters of our other relatively narrow senses. Before I take flight on this tangent, I will state this: Life cannot be captured. It doesn’t want to be, and we won’t do it. To preserve, is to kill. Unless we’re talking about fruit preserves that you can put on buttered sourdough toast. If life cannot be captured, THEN IT SHALL BE LIVED.
We’re archiving, collecting, and all for WHAT?
Let’s bring our old cars to life, and let’s drive. Let us Live.
Choose life or begin decay.
Our culture has prioritized the recording of experience rather than the experience itself.
The BEST RECORDING DEVICE? Not the photo, not your saved music on youtube, THE BEST RECORDER IS YOUR CHARACTER.

What better way to experience our senses on casual overdrive, than to allow them to work as they please; shifting gears at speed with the windows down, the music loud or non-existent, hand-eye labor employed, the mind heals and the soul knows. You’ve done it before, and you know the power. The roadtrip is a Human Development Experience. It’s a time across space full of quick scenes, nostalgic smells, deep insights, white noises. It’s raw Exploration; it’s the human in the flow. It is with proper handoff, I extend the excitement to the reader: Visualize a “career day” whether in your home or at your kid’s (global noble) school. The boys and girls from their bellies, chests, and mind, say “I want to Explore”. Explorers in numbers makes for a sturdy human race. Some already understand that “life is about what’s around the corner” (Joe Carey in ‘24). So go for it, set some new rules and know that you’re not breaking anybody else’s when you say “ I need to go collect more data”.
Back on Vipersnipe; the details are in your imagination. We live in a world of internet proof and credibility, etc, but you know that’s not how I want to play this. In the meantime, while I work on other ways to get the word out without leaking the juices of testimonial everywhere, I’ll be slowly releasing the characteristics of the business, whilst running the 1on1 service itself. Whether you’re in need of a journey or want to supply the resources for who’s up on deck, You know how to get in touch.
Roadtrip state of mind
